Back on the league

Yesterday was my first night with the local pool league. I won all my games, which is pretty cool. The handicap system here goes by point average, so winning all my games gives me a perfect average of 40 - which won't last long, but it's fun to start strong. My teammates are laid back and wouldn't have cared either way (I think), even though one of them is a 7 (or an ex-7, as he's no longer an APA player), and he's also the league manager or something like that. We stayed behind and shot some against each other after the night was over, and I even won a few games.



We're leaving tomorrow to take advantage of my spring break and warm up some. Picking up JC's son in Kentucky, spending a day or two with his parents, and heading south to Alabama/Florida, hoping to find a nice beach with cheap boats and good weather. I'll probably bring the laptop with me, so expect updates with photos of us fishing in the sun.
