Update

He's had surgery today and it went fine. He's awake and feeling better. They're keeping him there until Friday for IV-antibiotics.

Update - Saturday:
They let him go yesterday. He's doing fine, eating lots of antibiotics and pain killers, taking it easy. Looks like the infection is slowly going down.
