Well, I already had a license, but this one is AMERICAN. I mostly need it so I can buy a car, as local car dealers will not sell to holders of int'l licenses. I had to take a written test and a driving test - for the last time in my life, I hope. So now my ID reads "IOWA". Why not.
Woohoo! I have a license! Again!
After the DMV, I had to go to the dry cleaners'. My jacket needed cleaning after Becky and I left our jackets on the ground in some parking lot as we were trying to fit an office chair into the trunk of the car (don't try this at home - it doesn't fit), and some guy backed his car into them. We started waving our arms and yelling - the poor guy thought that he ran over a child or a pet or something - anyhow, so I go to the dry cleaners'. The guy who owns and runs the place loves airplanes, especially the old military kind. This is one wall in the place:
He also builds models. I love the oversized airplane models, decorating the folded laundry bins.
And JC is coming tonight for a few days. Ha.
